Bhau Bhau Biscuits started in Ahmedabad, at Maa Ke Hath Ki Chai by Pratima Pre-Mix in Gota. Every evening the same street dogs waited outside, and every evening the question was the same: what can you carry in a scooter that a dog can actually eat?
Leftover roti spoils, curry is too salty, and nobody wants a leaking bag. So we made a dry, 100% vegetarian biscuit that survives a bag, a bike and a monsoon, and priced a 4 KG pack at ₹500 so feeding every day stays affordable.
Since June 2026 we have shipped 446 packs — 1,784 KG — to feeders in 79+ cities across 15+ states, and opened 10 Bhau Bhau stores across Gujarat.

Yes. They are made from fortified wheat flour, sugar, edible vegetable oil, invert syrup and milk solids, with no meat and no meat by-products. The pack carries the green vegetarian mark. They contain wheat (gluten) and milk.

They are an energy-dense feeding biscuit (412 kcal per 100 g), not a low-sugar treat — so feed a measured amount and always leave water.
Many feeders use glucose biscuits because they are easy to find, but they are made and portioned for people. For daily feeding, a biscuit made for dogs in a 4 KG pack is easier to measure out and carry. Whatever you use, keep the amount modest and always give water.
About 100 g of Bhau Bhau biscuits per dog per feed works for most adult street dogs — roughly two small handfuls. Give less to puppies and small dogs, and more on cold days or to a nursing mother.
A 4 KG pack is about 40 feeds of 100 g. That is a group of eight dogs fed for five days, or one dog fed every day for over a month.
One dog fed 100 g a day uses about 3 KG a month. The biscuits cost ₹125 a kilo (₹500 for 4 KG), so that is about ₹375 a month before delivery, or about ₹465 with delivery on a single pack. Ten dogs need about 30 KG a month — roughly 8 packs, ₹4,000 plus ₹430 delivery.
